How it all began…

My passion for dyslexia intervention is both professional and deeply personal. As the mother of a child with dyslexia, previous elementary school teacher and reading specialist, I understand firsthand the challenges families face when a child struggles to read — and the incredible growth that happens with the right support. This journey inspired me to specialize in helping children build strong literacy foundations through evidence-based, structured instruction.

I am a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT), trained specifically to work with dyslexic learners and struggling readers using structured, multisensory approaches grounded in the science of reading. I provide individualized therapy that targets phonics, spelling, fluency, comprehension, and writing — always tailored to each child’s unique needs.

At Little Sprouts Literacy, I believe every child can grow into a confident reader when given patience, encouragement, and the right tools. My approach is warm, supportive, and highly intentional. I partner closely with families, celebrate small victories, and focus on helping each student gain both skills and confidence.

It would be an honor to support your child on their literacy journey.
